This sort of messaging will work with young people with a victim mindset & there are many of them.Everyday, I'm left in awe of what many young Nigerians are doing in Nigeria. If you like let someone who became a billionaire in Nigeria tell you you can't make it in Nigeria.Enjoy.
“As a Nigerian youth, the system is already against you. If Bill Gates, Steve Jobs and all these great people were here, they won’t even start” – NDC Presidential Candidate, Peter Obi

The construction of the Calabar-Abuja superhighway; one of the four major legacy projects of this administration is moving at a rapid pace and the people of the benefitting states are excited. The road begins from the spur of the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway in Cross River State (Ndibe Beach, Afikpo). It traverses Ebonyi, Benue, Kogi, and Nasarawa states, and terminates at Apo in the Federal Capital Territory (Abuja). The team @PBATMediaCentre spoke with some excited users as part of the ongoing Renewed Hope National Media Tour in the South East. #SouthEastRenewedHopeTour

The audacious mind that conceived this, I hope we never go back to mediocre presidents again.
An aerial view of the work going on at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA). According to the Minister of Aviation, Festus Keyamo, this is not a refurbishment but a total redesign and rebuild of MMIA. The project will take 22 months and is expected to be commissioned by President Tinubu. Though not part of the current construction, the administration is also working on extending the Red Line train so people leaving the airport can take the train directly to the Ikeja bus stop. When all of this is accomplished, it might just be the biggest achievement and most beautiful infrastructure project completed under President Tinubu. Video credit: Just Ozed on YouTube.

If you failed to get anything out of Cape Verde holding Spain to a 0-0 with a 40-year-old keeper having the game of his life against the odds, simply because it ended in a draw, I’m not sure sport in general is for you.
All four World Cup games today are going to be draws. I enjoy soccer, but this is clearly one of the reasons many Americans are bored by this sport.

A testimonial from a Nigerian business owner
A thread: 21 months ago, I posted the brutal truth many SMEs faced: revenues down 80%, middle-class purchasing power crushed, Naira at ₦1,650/$, and I had to shut our Allen Ave Ikeja store. It was survival mode. Today? The FX reforms are delivering real momentum. Here’s the impact: 🧵🇳🇬📈

Despite Spain having 74% possession, Cape Verde committed just ONE foul the entire match. This is the least amount of fouls committed by a team on record in a World Cup match 🤯

Nigeria is a significant global supplier of high-quality leather. Sokoto goatskin is recognised in international markets and is a sought-after input for luxury goods production. The raw material leaves Nigeria, is processed abroad, and returns to the global market under European brand names. The value addition that should happen here is not happening here. Two games ago the MOTM was telling us he couldn't bring his mom to watch the most important moment of his entire career cause her visa got rejected
Genuinely asking: What has the US done wrong here? Seems like it's been a smashing success. Every game is sold out, and there have been almost no hiccups organizationally.

Those who grew up in Lagos know that 'Lagos' is different from Lagos State, with its capital in Ikeja. Lagos or Eko refers to the island. That's why buses call 'Eko Idumota' for buses going to the island. Parts of the island was the federal capital & not the whole state, that was under the jurisdiction of the LASG. The old westen region accounts for over 99% of what became Lagos state today. And whether it is the former capital on the island or the rest of state, every inch of this land is unmistakably & irrevocably Yoruba land.

Go and read your history. Lagos was never part of Western region. That is why Lagos is far developed than yoruba capital Ibadan

Earlier today, I joined Governor Dikko Umaru Radda and other dignitaries at the National Mosque, Abuja, for the funeral prayer of Hajiya Fatima Ladi Binta Musa Musawa, mother of the Honourable Minister of Arts, Culture, Tourism and the Creative Economy, Hannatu Musa Musawa. STATEHOUSE PRESS RELEASE PRESIDENT TINUBU CONDOLES WITH THE MINISTER OF ARTS, CULTURE AND CREATIVE ECONOMY ON MOTHER'S PASSING President Bola Tinubu extends his heartfelt condolences to the Minister of Arts, Culture and the Creative Economy, Barrister Hannatu Musawa, on the passing of her beloved mother, Hajiya Fatima Musa Musawa. Hajiya Musawa died on Saturday, June 13. The President enjoins the minister to take the passing of her mum with equanimity, saying he knows the death of a parent, particularly a mother, can be painful because he had experienced it before. President Tinubu remarks: “I received the news of the demise of Hajiya Musawa with deep sadness, occurring just a few years after the patriarch of the family, Ambassador Musa Musawa, passed on. “I condole with Barrister Hannatu Musawa and the entire family at this time of grieving over a loving mother who was also a strong pillar of support and strength within the family. “I pray that Allah will grant Hajiya Fatima Musawa eternal rest in Al-Jannah Firdaus, and grant the Minister, her siblings, and the entire family the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss." Nigeria exported approximately $75 million in textiles in 2022. In the same year, it imported $4.3 billion. This is one of the most striking numbers in the mapping. Nigeria is one of the largest apparel markets in Africa. The domestic demand is enormous. Closing even a fraction of this gap represents a multi-billion dollar domestic industry opportunity.
