Tonight we celebrate #ChaharShanbehSouri. A festival of light & fire, held at sunset on the last Tuesday before Nowruz (New Year). Iranians celebrate by singing & jumping over fire. A beautiful ritual to leave behind misfortunes & bring renewal for the New Year ahead.

NY brewery @BackHomeBeer is bringing Middle Eastern flavors and traditions to the American beer scene. Listen to the most interesting 4 minutes from founder Zahra Tabatabai’s interview with Dan Pashman on Hark Audio: harkaudio.com/beer-pintsized…
We had originally planned for today to kick off a teaser series for a new beer hitting shelves next week. It’s a beer that’s especially close to our hearts, much like Iran.
But with news of the latest attacks and the escalation in the region 1/2
it’s hard to focus on anything other than our families, our friends, and the future of our people and those in the region at large.
In lighter news, something is brewing. A new beer is coming to market on 6/19 💔 2/2

I have two Pavlovian responses to the word “tahdig” - I must find a photo of one I made and I must put “make adas polo” on my calendar. Now I must try this new Pilsner
Meet Tahdig Pilsner — our bold take on a classic! Crisp, golden, inspired by tahdig, the crunchy rice from every Persian table. With notes of saffron & toasted grains, it’s deeply savory with just the right bite. Think saffron, toasted grains, and a hint of nostalgia in every sip
Sizdah Bedar marks the final day of Nowruz—when families head outdoors to let go of bad energy and welcome the new year with joy, nature, and fresh air.
It’s a day for picnics, laughter, and lightness. A tradition that says: leave the worries behind and start again.
