Ian Watkins, Ex-LOSTPROPHETS singer, has reportedly died at age 48 following an attack at HMP Wakefield, a UK maximum-security prison.
According to The Sun, Watkins was assaulted by another inmate on Saturday, October 11, and died from blood loss after his jugular was slashed. Emergency services responded, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Watkins was serving a 29-year sentence for multiple child sex offenses. He had previously survived a stabbing at the same facility in 2023.
