10yo is at his first sleep away camp from Sunday-Friday. I tend to underrate his abilities because he is my precious baby angel. I thought he might miss us a lot, or would get upset because his triple A (autism, ADHD, anxiety) would have an issue with new surroundings and people. NO. I saw a picture of this kid eating a brownie. Apparently they get ice cream constantly. It's a camp for gifted kids and so he's just nerding out. I'm both happy AND a little sad.

Because #foodiebeauty has another UTI, and I have 1000 chronic disorders and the research and doctor advice to go with them, here is some info about what to do if you have a uti, might have a uti, or are prone to them. I have interstitial cystitis, which mimics the symptoms of a UTI but my bladder is just being a dick (no actual infection) so I have to get tested sometimes. Per my urogyn doc: d-mannose is the supplement you want if you are prone to them or want to prevent them (she recommended uri-calm, which has d-mannose and cranberry). At the first sign, take cystex. It'll help flush your bladder and help with pain. Pyridium is available in the US without a prescription and does help with pain. It will stain everything orange and don't take it not than 3 days. Get your pee checked (a lot of quick care clinics will test quickly) so they can culture and get you the CORRECT meds. Chantal is on 2 rx right now for a skin infection but those won't help a uti. Take care of yourself! UTIs are nothing to fuck with!
