Things parents do that DON’T make a resilient or accountable kid in sports:
- make excuses as to why kid didn’t perform well or get selected
- look for ‘yes’ coaches
- talk poorly or blame others (coaches, opposition, officials) in front of kid
- fight their kids every battle
