To get TV gig you need an original pilot, film script or play. And nowadays, you probably need two. There are thousands of original scripts that studio execs love that still are not being bought. This idea that writers are scouring through old crates gotta stop. It’s not reality.

Inspired by the overwhelming response to my THE LAST ROMANTIC IN LA pilot and a Nic Pizzolatto interview I recently watched on YouTube where he said “I wrote 6 scripts in 5 weeks. One of those was the True Detective pilot.” If you don’t see me out just know I’m in the lab cookin!
