I am kinda getting sick of fandom stuff. I dunno I’m starting to wonder how many fandoms in general appreciate their author’s work on a deeper level. I’m just getting sick of seeing people treat fiction like sports teams. So much nuance and depth is lost with that mentality.

the sad thing to me is that meili is so perpetually lonely, frightened, and full of grief and anger that I think Subaru acting like "that" was a RELIEF to her: of course the true nature of someone beloved is hateful and gross. she probably feels more comfortable around that.
