Lived in an apartment complex around Columbia, MD and I was certain the apt manager (here’s looking at you Karl, you dickhead) had a grift going with the towing company.
If you didn’t put up your parking tag or it wasn’t clearly visible. Towed. If you were “on the line” (you weren’t but this was before cell phone cams). Towed. Stickers expired by a day. Towed.
This woman is crashing out about her car getting double booted in her apartment complex — again.
She says this is the second time it’s happened. This time, she forgot her parking garage key card, so she parked next to the curb instead. She says she ran inside for literally 60 seconds to grab it, and by the time she came back out, they were already booting her car.
She pays to live there and feels like the booting company is constantly targeting residents. On the other hand, she’s not supposed to park outside the garage, and this isn’t the first time this has happened to her.
So… is she wrong or right in this situation?
