Update:
The approaching thunderstorm has moved. In the past 3.5 hours. At 11:00 it was off the Lompoc / Vandenberg AFB coast. Now at 2:30 it has moved north 140 miles. Now it’s just south of Big Sur. Another 71 mi it will be at Santa Cruz. Or 140 mi over SanFrancisco

Aircraft circling overhead setting up to make a fire retardant drop on a forest fire west of Bolder Creek. (Santa Cruz mountains). Thats the only way to fight the fire. Empire grade road is to the west.

All of the orange dots represents a current wildland fire burning in California. The lightning north of Santa Barbara represents the next threat to a second round of fires starting up in California. These new fires will have potential winds that are projected to hit 60 mph gust

Right now a massive storm is right off the coast of Santa Barbara moving north with lightning hitting over the Pacific ocean west of Lompoc / Vandenberg Air Force Base.

Get Out! Santa Cruz County has just joined in with other communities all across Northern California in issuing a mandatory evacuation for towns all along Highway 9. There is 15 major fires burning all over Northern California.

CHP is investigating a horrific accident in Brentwood on Highway 4 at Sand Creek. Two victims were airlifted to the hospital in critical condition. Reports initially came in that a green Dodge left the road rolled over crashed into a sign post and caught on fire. Video Art by Art

The horrible crash video that shows a helicopter crashing to the ground and going up in flames was a fake and not Kobe’s chopper Kobe’s is painted blue and white and not red and white like in the fake video. Can you imagine the families reaction to the terrible fake video

A neighbor I talked to was angry because he said a worker caused the fire while cutting down the properties tall dry grass with a tractor.
Wait for the temperature and humidity to change and the winds to slow down. Think fire safety!
