I’m opening up skeletal commissions! If you have a question or request you can shoot me a DM about whatever it may be
✅I will do Mammals and Dinosaurus(Avian and Non-Avian)
❌I will not do anything else, if you think you have an exception send me a DM and we can discuss it
Gigantopithecus blacki skeletal, while much larger and more famous than its relative Sivapithecus, this animal is much less complete, preserving teeth and mandible material. This material is giant. This reconstruction is speculative due to the fragmentary nature of its material.
Sivapithecus parvada, an ape with a face incredibly similar to an orangutan, causing many people to reconstruct it as merely a more terrestrial orangutan. This animal’s postcrania tell another story, with much more basal features more similar to a non-ape old world monkey
Dinopithecus ingens skeletal, in the case I guess skeletals plural. These two specimens represent both a male and a female, and demonstrate just how large this species was. The male specimen has a skull reconstructed here as 32cm, massive for a baboon.
Stand with us to protect the future of Nashville Zoo.
A proposed 69,000-square-foot data center is planned next to the Zoo, but no environmental impact studies have been conducted. Sign our petition to help protect the animals in our care ➡️ c.org/KxhXznzBcD
Castoroides dilophidus skeletal, realizing I never posted this. This gigantic beaver from Florida is incredibly bobbleheaded. While it may not have built dams like its modern cousin, it is still incredibly cool in its own right. Also, it likely didn’t have a paddled tail.
Skeletal of Sarcosuchus imperator!
This is based in the specimen mounted up in the National museum of Natural History in Paris
Due to S.imperator specimens rarely ever getting described, it was tricky to put up, but at least i can guarantee loyalty to the real thing
Allosaurus sp. skeletal, this uses some of the largest and most robust non-“anax” allosaurus fossils. These include “Epanterias”, NMMNH P-26083, and BYU 2028. All of this material is huge, and leads clues to what I believe is understated allosaurus diversity within the Morrison.
A while ago i found a 1910 paper that described bones from Erythrosuchus' largest specimen, which went unmentioned on the 2003 osteology
The extra jugal and squamosal are much larger than i had previously extrapolated! giving the skull a larger jaw muscle housing
(skeletal)
Nanotyrannus lethaeus skeletal, based off the “Jane” specimen. I was lucky enough to see her in person, hence the pfp, and because of that I was able to take a ton of pictures for this that helped in areas where there weren’t any measurements.
This is perhaps my last posts regarding the size estimations of Nanaimoteuthis haggarti, pretty much because there is nothing more to attempt to change their results until somebody come to make a more concrete argument of the results, for now I stick with a conservative size
