This is not a drill 🚨 I’ve just discovered that teachers and school staff can access a blue light card giving them access to thousands of different discounts!
Arrived safely in @LEGOLANDWindsor teachers and students are already on their adventures. I get to chill for a bit at the collection point ❤️ #hotandsunny
Best wishes to all those celebrating the life of the wonderful #TimBrighouse.
This list is still the thing that has the most impact on my teaching career, how I want teachers to be and how I run a school.
My eldest is doing her three GCSEs in Chemistry, Physics and Biology. It has brought home, in a very real way, that the specification is massive. Just MASSIVE! It’s like they’ve been designed without realising that there are a big bunch of other GCSEs to do too!
If you missed the Aurora last night and / or would like another go, then it looks like there is a good chance we’ll have another display this evening.
AQA GCSE Science teachers. This school have produced a fantastic set of revision resources for all 3 subjects 👏👏👏👏

Physics teachers. I would be interested to read what you think of this method for rearranging equations. Might be useful for those pupils who struggle with it. Better than triangles but would examiners have an issue with the method? 🤔

Wake up with a spring in your step? Us too!🌷
Today is the first day of spring in the Northern Hemisphere. During the March equinox, the Sun will pass directly above the equator, shining equal amounts of daylight in the Northern and Southern hemispheres. go.nasa.gov/3TgR4Xy
ALT Satellite image of the Keukenhof Garden in the Netherlands. A mosaic of multi-colored rectangles pops against a mostly green and brown landscape. Some of the bright orange rectangles are tulip blooms seen from space.
“The women are so strong!”
You’ll love this little one’s commentary as she watches women’s Olympic weightlifting with her father.
It’s clear that she’s drawing inspiration from these female role models; a great reminder that representation matters for children.
As the great Marian Wright Edelman, Founder and President of the Children’s Defense Fund once noted: “You can’t be what you can’t see.”
Of course, as a student of child development, my very favorite part of this video is when she gives the sport her own alternate name: Dropping. 🤣
Genius!
