Robotaxi is impossible, vision will never work. Those rockets will never land vertical. Experts say it can't be done. EVs can't work as viable transportation, there's no charging. Automobiles will never replace horses, they're dangerous and fuel will never be widely available.

The head of our Department of War is an absolute retard, it's sad.
Three months ago, @DeptofWar kicked @AnthropicAI out of our building—forever. Every passing day proves why that was the right move. 🇺🇸

Fable isn't the first. In 1999 the department of defense blocked exports of the PowerMac G4 for crossing the 1 gigaflop threshold. Steve Jobs turned it into an ad.

The Golden Wheel — my new term for this options strategy for everyone in the option selling space. Here’s a live example I’m running right now in the portfolio: 1. Sell a put LEAP → June 2026 $tsla $400 put for 100 points during the April 2025 selloff. 2. Get assigned the shares under $400. 3. Sell a call LEAP at the >$400 strike for another 80-100 points (currently ~90 points ATM leaps) 4. Eventually get assigned on the calls over $400 in 2027. Result: Roughly 50% return in 2 years on a stock that went basically flat. The Golden wheel part (tax bonus): When assigned on the puts, that premium gets wrapped into the share cost basis. Once you hold the shares for a year , what was short-term capital gains on the put leaps premium becomes long-term gains. You only pay short-term on the call side. This is the Golden Wheel. Sell premium, get shares, sell more call premium >12 months until your originally assigned shares turn long term. repeat — with favorable tax treatment on one leg. I’m a big fan of this structure when it lines up.

A strong argument could and should be made that every employer should be required to offer all employees stock in the same manner the CEO receives annual stock awards or options, warrants ,etc Whatever percentage of salary/earnings the CEO gets in shares, so should every employee

150m own stocks. 1% own 90% of the gains. Ownership scaled. Wealth didn't.

The reason anyone gets insanely rich is almost always because of the stock market. It certainly how @elonmusk did. And the reason they get rich from the stock market, is because 150m Americans decided they wanted to own shares of stocks directly, or through their retirement plans, or through other approaches as a way of building their net worth and trying to create a better life for themselves. One Hundred Fifty Million Americans. About 60% of adults. Effectively believing that @elonmusk and many billionaires could make them wealthier and help them achieve a better life. If you want @elonmusk , and most billionaires to no longer be that rich, convince those 150m to sell their stocks, funds, ETFs whatever. Of course you would wipe out the net-worth of most of those people, and everyone else’s savings, as the markets crashed and brought down the economy and created the worst depression we have ever seen. Alternatively There are ways to improve healthcare access and eventually make it available to all. To start - If you want @elonmusk and all billionaires to improve healthcare for everyone , ask them to stop doing business with the enormous healthcare conglomerates and to work directly with transparently priced care providers. It’s the behemoth HC conglomerates that make HC so bad for so many. (Check my timeline for more detail) Removing them would push the cost of healthcare down for everyone. Their corporate decisions impact our healthcare cost and availability. Of course if they do that, not only would our HC costs go down , and the quality of care for their employees and the entire country go up But They would see their corporate cash flow increase dramatically and we would have more millionaires, billionaires and maybe even another trillionaire when that cash flow moved from the big health care conglomerates to their bottom line, so would the net worth of the 150 million American adults that own public stocks Capitalism is better than socialism because 150m Americans can influence exactly what happens in this country.

Capitalism is better than socialism because one man gets to be a trillionaire instead of everyone having healthcare

The @RealDanODowd has to be my favorite example of someone smart who thought they knew more than Elon and massively bet against him because of their own hubris. You see Dan has a company which makes RTOSs for military hardware and he figured something like THAT would be needed for a self driving car. It turns out he was wrong. All you needed was attention and nothing but nets. Dan has realistically lost millions betting against Elon (from running ads, to maintaining his activist web site, to probably shorting $TSLA heavily). In the face of overwhelming evidence about FSD safety (130ms reaction times, no major accidents, dozens of Robotaxis in multiple cities driving safely every day) he to this day refuses to bend the knee and acknowledge he was wrong. And he will for some reason NEVER question Waymo. How odd.

Tesla App on Android has a bug where you can't remove the charging schedule. I found a workaround by adding a second schedule, then deleting it, that reset everything. Not sure if it reproduces easily or not.

I hit the edge case yesterday night where both cars were charging and both air conditioners kicked on at the same time which tripped my main gateway breaker 🤦 Need slightly larger service but this is the first time it happened in years since it's been installed. Oh well.

It's just a parrot. *AI takes many roles and revolutionizes industries* It can help with basic tasks but it'll never advance human knowledge. *Government limits AI models due to danger from foreign adversaries.* This thing is just another dotcom bubble 🤣 Real X users.

When the CEO goes on national television saying AI is too powerful and needs safeguards, I'm not sure what is expected...
The US government, citing national security authorities, has issued an export control directive to suspend all access to Fable 5 and Mythos 5 by any foreign national, whether inside or outside the United States, including foreign national Anthropic employees. The net effect of this order is that we must abruptly disable Fable 5 and Mythos 5 for all our customers to ensure compliance. Access to all other Claude models is not affected. We apologize for this disruption to our customers. We believe this is a misunderstanding and are working to restore access as soon as possible. Read our full statement: anthropic.com/news/fable-myt…

I tried Claude Fable 5 Ultrathink on a really hard debugging problem. It spawned 19 agents and traced the code, used 3.1 million tokens. It identified an edge case issue in a hardware interface, since it didn't have access to fix HW it added a watchdog to the state machine. Problem is solved. It did this with no logging at all basically blind.

If I sell a Put and want to establish a stop loss and a profit stop to buy the option back, how can I do that? Once I put the stop loss in I get this error when trying to establish the profit stop.
