Geordie beer lover, suffering ScotRail commuter and Dublin/Cardiff visitor. Travel and drink widely making comments about the things that please me and annoy me
We've teamed up with @twicebrewedinn for our first Beer & Music festival. A whole weekend of beer and live music, all set up in the field behind the Brewery. Over 22 beers pouring, 3 days of live music in an amazing location. For tickets head over to twicebrewedinn.co.uk
45 minutes on a bus from princes street to leith. Public transport in Edinburgh is going backwards. Trams have done nothing but damage transport in Edinburgh. #Edinburgh@EdinburghBUG@EdinburghTrams
Michael Matheson's a grown man in his 50s; husband and father; with two university degrees and professional experience; an elected politician of more than two decades; a ‘Cabinet Secretary’, one of the most senior politicians in Scotland for nine years; supposedly one of the more intelligent and capable Nationalists…
Caught and shamed for personal use of a work iPad and connectivity. Crying at the lectern and blaming his children. Showing disdain for the electorate and taxpayers who cover the cost of his misuse.
It’s hard not to hold him in utter contempt.
🍺KELLER TAPROOM🍺
We are pleased to announce that Keller Taproom in Edinburgh have joined the #fiercefamily! 🥰
Lovely people doing incredible things so make sure to pay them a visit and check out their amazing site if you’re in the capital!
#stayfierce#supportlocal
Definitely worth the visit I did it entirely by plane, train and bus from Edinburgh despite the buses being diverted due to road works and an interesting walk at the end!
Sadly, we can't control what mobile contract you have, or where Uber operates. But there are regular local buses, we have plenty of local taxi numbers and as it turns out - great beer (and great neighbours @ElusiveBrew)
It's worth the visit. 😉
😡Appalling scenes from Staffordshire as the #CrookedHouse pub in Himley, near Dudley is reduced to rubble 🔥📢 @SAVEBrit fully supports calls for the landmark boozer to be rebuilt brick by brick 🧱♻️👇#Pubs#HeritageCrime
Five supermarket giants have issued a joint warning to pause the DRS scheme in Scotland. What a surprise here’s me thinking all big businesses backed it @lornaslater will you now listen instead of blindly stumbling towards this disastrous policy. If supermarkets aren’t ready then what chance will smaller businesses have.
Dear Twitter friends, we need your help. Having recently closed the brewery we have urgent need to find c.200 missing metal casks. We are personally liable for their return. Can pubs, brewers, wholesalers please check yards and get in touch if any found. Please retweet! xx
Dear @lornaslater, the proposed DRS has many flaws it will be: worse for the environment, limit consumer choice, increase costs & jeopardise Scottish jobs. We urge you to pause and revise the scheme with input from the ‘real industry’. Let’s ensure this DRS works for everyone.
