Update on BDX-BSC token
We would like to provide the community with an update regarding the BDX-BSC bridge, contract, and token.
The situation is currently under control, and our remediation efforts have progressed as planned. In coordination with our partners, we have taken the necessary steps to contain the impact and protect users.
Market stability has also improved, supported by strategic measures undertaken by the team. We appreciate the confidence and continued support shown by the community during this period.
The Beldex native blockchain remains completely unaffected by this incident. The network is secure, fully operational, and all native-chain assets and services continue to function normally.
As part of the recovery process, the team is evaluating additional measures, including the deployment of a new BDX-BSC contract. We are carefully reviewing all available options to ensure a secure and seamless path forward.

As a precautionary measure, the BSC Chain contract, bridge services, and related infrastructure have been temporarily paused while remediation efforts are underway.
We would like to reassure the community that this issue is isolated to the BSC Chain bridge environment and has not impacted the Beldex native blockchain. The Beldex network remains secure and fully operational, and all assets on the native chain continue to function normally.
We also want to assure holders of BDX on BSC Chain that user funds remain protected. The temporary pause was implemented specifically to safeguard assets and prevent further impact while the issue is being addressed. Our team is working closely with partners to restore services in a secure and orderly manner.
We remain committed to building secure, privacy-first infrastructure, including cross-chain interoperability, and will continue to provide timely updates as more information becomes available.
We appreciate the community's patience and continued support.

The recent ZCash audit and subsequent disclosures have made one thing clear: audits are even more critical for privacy-focused protocols.
Beldex began auditing its codebase along with its partners last month.
The team continues to identify and address potential areas of improvements across the network all while shipping new products such as the BNS Marketplace, integrating Dandelion onto the mainnet (ongoing), and researching enhancements to VRF-based consensus and Bulletproofs-based age verification systems.

No Monero folks should be looking to dunk on Zcash because of Zooko's post. He did the right thing and was honest about exploitation being undetectable.
We (Monero) have had our own inflation bugs that have thankfully also been resolved, it's a natural downside to building out privacy as the default in these systems.
The important things are:
1. Fixing them quickly
2. Working with stakeholders quickly
3. Being honest and transparent about them so the ecosystem as a whole can learn and improve
