A majority in the Scottish Parliament has just backed our call to devolve energy powers to Scotland.
We can’t afford being tied to the failed policies at Westminster.
Scotland’s energy should work for Scotland - with the powers we need to help bring people’s bills down.

So some of you will know that 3 years ago my baby brother Peter was diagnosed with bowel cancer. He had surgery & chemo. thank god (other religious leaders are available) today he got the all clear. I can’t tell you what this means to our family and more importantly his. 1/2

Not everyone is so lucky and to try and help others he and his wife and in-laws are doing the kilt walk for bowel cancer. Times are tough for everyone right now but if you could spare a few schekels we would all be very grateful. 2/2 justgiving.com/page/team-lea…

I don't think there is any need for a Manchester/Glasgow rivalry but there is definitely a narrative being pushed that Glasgow is some kind of basket case compared to Manchester. The stats just do not bear that out.

Scotland stands with the people of Gaza. We need to see more humanitarian aid coming in, and every effort must be made to secure lasting peace.

Devolution has clearly been good for Scotland in general.
With further devolved powers and finances, Glasgow we will be in a really strong position to deliver growth and better life chances for everyone across the city region.
