Good on Brewer for cashing in! Coming off a huge breakout 2025 and now easily one of the most dangerous OL in the league as a weapon/feature of the running game
Center Aaron Brewer and the Miami Dolphins reached agreement today on a 3-year, $52.5 million extension that includes $37 million guaranteed. The deal makes Brewer one of the highest-paid centers in the league in a deal done by Kyle McCarthy of Athletes First.

I’m at the Cincinnati Zoo today. I have seen the Brendan Sorsby ruling. I am going to continue focusing on the Cincinnati Zoo.

Right now Baker Mayfield is the 16th-highest paid QB in the league. No matter where you have him ranked, I'd bet it's better than 16.

(This isn’t at all specifically at or about Brett but) the one thing I wish most that we could all accept is that there are easily 20 QBs that are capable of looking like the fifth-best QB in football for an 8-game stretch

Now up on @YahooSports. I wrote about the potential trends in the NFL in 2026. And more specifically, I wrote about how the Rams, amongst other teams, might use an old friend to help score points this year. Tempo. sports.yahoo.com/nfl/article…

Love it. Underrated player because separation metrics will never love him but he’s such a throwback player inre: physicality
Falcons are signing WR Drake London to a four-year, $141 million extension worth up to $150 million, including $100 million guaranteed, per his agent Andrew Kessler. It makes London the third highest paid receiver in the league with the highest average per year in Falcons franchise history.

Though Hall would be a $11/12M player. Really nice payday for him as an internal extension
Edge Derick Hall and the Seahawks reached agreement today on a three-year, $42 million extension that could be worth up to $46.5 million and includes $21 million guaranteed, per his agents Chad Berger and Ezra J Thompson. Hall is now under contract to Seattle the 2029 season. Hall had two sacks and a forced fumble during the Seahawks' Super Bowl LX win over the Patriots.

Myles Garrett (and Trent McDuffie!) lessen the scheme burden on Chris Shula, who's pretty good at this gig. Rams were the fourth best defense by DVOA last year, and now they have scale-tipping players!

using blitz and "4 man pass rush" stats with the Rams has to be taken with a grain of salt because of how many creepers and simulated pressures they use. It's a scheme with a lot of offspeed pitches and Myles Garrett will be used more on stunts and games than he probably has ever been used in the past. It will create easy looks for him as well as his teammates because he's the sharpest tip of the spear possible. So the offspeed stuff got more dangerous, and now Garrett gives Chris Shula a 103 MPH fastball to pair with the rest of the funk he uses. Man.

🚨🚨🚨 ESPN sources: The Eagles are trading Pro-Bowl WR A.J. Brown to the Patriots for a 2028 first-round pick and a 2027 fifth-round pick that is the better of New England’s two fifths. The deal that has been speculated on for weeks now finally is happening. Brown and Patriots HC Mike Vrabel are reuniting.
