Nearly one month ago, the Canadian portion of the program concluded with a final dinner and exchange attended by Richard Giguère, providing participants with a final opportunity to reflect on the discussions, visits and meetings that shaped this year’s edition.
While the study visits have now come to an end, the next phase of the program is only beginning. Attention now turns to the written contributions that will be produced by members of the 2026 cohort.
Following in the footsteps of previous cohorts, participants will contribute analyses and reflections on key defence, security and international affairs issues. Over the past few years, the program has generated a growing body of publications, including a special issue of the Revue Défense Nationale (
@Defnat) produced by the 2024 cohort, a series of strategic briefs published through the
@RAS_NSA , and, most recently, contributions from members of the 2025 cohort published in the latest issue of Revue diplomatique (IEGA - Institut d'études de géopolitique appliquée,
@AlexandreNegrus ).
We now look forward to the insights and perspectives that the 2026 cohort will bring to ongoing debates on transatlantic security, defence and international affairs.
