Huh, not sure I believe this one - at least for the games I follow. Every caster I can think of in DOTA, SC2, Deadlock (even though deadlock is a brand new game) has hundreds to thousands of hours in each game
Maybe it's different in some of the more mainline esports?
There's another note here too from the broadcast end.
No one was involved, especially on a talent end without living and breathing the games they were covering. Tastosis started because of true fandom of SC.
Many broadcast staff (talent / prod both) have < 100 hours on their main game. Which is utterly absurd and the antithesis of the people who covered things in the OG days.
