Significant consideration has been given to the over 3,000 lizard orchids at the park. There are approx 600 on the site of the proposed surf park, which will be individually moved under an approved licence from Natural England to areas that will be enhanced and managed. (2/3)

We are looking to bring a Surf Lagoon and Hotel to Betteshanger Country Park. It will be one of only seven such wave parks in the world! Not only will it bring jobs and tourism to the area, but it will also give the park and its wildlife a safe and financially sustainable future
