“It’s very obvious and very clear that a lot of these kids are very addicted to their screens, their devices, a lot of those being AI, Artificial Intelligence-type apps and content. A lot of these kids don’t even know what’s real from what’s completely artificial and manipulated.”
At the Florida Homeschool Convention, parents sounded the alarm on screen addiction, artificial content, and the growing inability of children to distinguish reality from manipulation.
The future won't be decided by technology alone. It will be decided by who controls it.

What a difference a year makes. Last June, tech companies were pushing to include a 10 year AI moratorium into the budget and almost succeeded. This week, @JayObernolte and @RepLoriTrahan outlined a substantive working proposal for leveraging the opportunities of AI while also addressing its risks. That’s immense progress, and we’re glad Congress is finally listening to the overwhelming majority of Americans who want responsible innovation on AI.
Artificial intelligence is changing the way Americans live, work, learn, and compete.
