We debuted at #3 on Apple iTunes back in 2016 for our first big film. Proud to announce our latest feature-length documentary is out now on Apple TV. Big topic. It's deeper than most know. Give it a shot.

I used to have a lot of deep convos on Twitter. Most of my work over the past 15 years has almost exclusively originated here. It was always the best for connecting. Lately, I find when I post different topics looking for discussion...crickets. Perhaps it's my regular shifting between topics (harm reduction, Web3 tech revolution, AI, health, Milwaukee, & spirituality) or maybe its something else? Thoughts? IMO, there's a lot of broken stuff in the world, but improvements will only happen if we grow together. Trying to find a discussion platform for growing together.

I'm curious if others are deeply contemplating where our societies will be in 10 years, now that we're in the AI Era.

🚨Spoiler Alert!🚨 Our movie wasn't about smoking at all. It was about improving brain health & what serious scientists at world-class universities were finding. It was about love for our communities, the need for truth, & who is holding back vital information that could affect 2 billion people. Don't be afraid of the word "nicotine." Seek the information. We simply packaged it all together into 90 minutes for you. I sincerely hope it helps.
There's a LOT more to the nicotine discussion besides just quitting smoking. It's mainly about improving brain health... It's great to see communities coming together to find answers to big problems like Parkinson's, Alzheimer's, & other neurological diseases. One 20,000 member Parkinson's community is discussing You Don't Know Nicotine right now! healthunlocked.com/cure-park… There's a lot of evidence showing people who smoke cigarettes get Parkinson's less (Google it). Smoking is bad for health, but what if people used clean nicotine instead? There's a lot to discover yet, but honest/open discussion is the starting point.

Seeing some old pals showing up again & adding energy! ⚡️ It's been a long road for much of our community (we met many of you in 2015 & 2016), but it always feels good to see old friends saying hi. Remember these moments?

Yes, thanks to 1000 Kickstarter backers this film was made possible. Bumpy roads at times (2020 release was a major challenge), but we did it together and now it's finally out on major platforms.
Not meaning to boast but I suppose some in here have donated a couple of bucks, haven't we? I think it was well worth the "invest".🥰

21 years of partnership with @JenniBiebertMKE. New thing this year, @Sydney_MKE & Ricardo took the fam out for dinner to celebrate with our friends at Cafe India. No kidney stones this year (one year ago). Jenni & I are still in love. We have some arguments still (today even), but we always make up. She’s fun to make up with. 🤣

There's layers inside layers. On the surface, the story is quite straightforward. As you get to the end, you have a full, simple picture of what's going on & why. When you watch it again, you'll see more depth from each person we meet along the way. That helps with deeper understanding. After that, there's deeper truth about humans inside all of it. We're a mess. We need each other. We need intellectually honest leaders. Without that...we get what we have now around the world.
Do you notice things the 2nd time you missed the first time?

A new edition of @Skips_Corner was published this morning. In this episode, I discuss my #LivedExperience with @Biebert and the @KnowNicotine movie. It serves as my launching pad to discuss the importance of Lived Experience. skipscorner.substack.com/p/y… Every voice matters!

Not knowing something feels bad. There are three ways to cope: 1) Learn about it from primary sources (~ 1% of people) 2) Ignore it so you don't have to think about it (most people) 3) Fake it, but go negative (too many people) There's always something bad to focus on...even water kills people. You can see this in politics, religions, health, & emerging technology conversations. Too many people lately taking #3 option.

Watched it just now; highly recommend. Released in 2020, it's an absolute 'must-watch', in my opinion

Want to know how to help spread the word, the truth, increase viewership of this insightful documentary & help save lives? It starts with sharing knowledge & engaging in civil conversations. Superb thread from @Biebert on how we can help. Please and thank you.
So, you want a thoughtful, truthful, mind-blowing, public-facing documentary about nicotine that is perfect for your friends, family, & neighbors to see? The first feature-length documentary about nicotine is now on major streaming platforms (Apple TV & Prime). What now? It is an independent film funded through Kickstarter, so help is needed. There is no marketing budget. People like you actually matter if we rally. This is a megathread of exactly what you can do to help. Algorithms on social media & streaming platforms can do much of the work, but they rely on you to show them what matters. 1⃣ It starts with retweet, comment, & bookmark of this post here. Don't know what to say? Post a meme. 2⃣ Share, comment, & bookmark our latest trailer quoted below. This is a numbers game. Give it numbers.

Question for @PrimeVideo. I'm excited to see that @KnowNicotine is available on your platform. I want to buy rentals of it and gift them to people I think would value seeing the movie. Like giving a gift certificate, but in this case, it would be for that movie. How do I do that?

I sure try!! Sometimes I get a little negative (@JenniBiebertMKE says "whiny") in talks, but it really comes from an intense passion, love, & understanding of where we are & where we need to be. Often we're not where we need to be.

I ask myself why I continue, then I remember the loved ones I've lost to cigarette use. That gives me the fuel to carry on.
