Indiana is making a bad deal that sells out its residents. No “state” government has given any NFL team tax breaks, municipalities have so Bears went the wrong route. Only 5 NFL teams own the stadium they play in. Most have a municipal lease deal similar to what they have in Chi

The Bears’ Board of Directors voted Thursday to advance the stadium development in Hammond, Indiana, with the exact to be selected. This is this first time that the Bears’ board has voted on any stadium site.
As one source said, “There is more work to do but barring anything very strange, it’s a done deal.”

Just like that, Arlington Heights is no longer an option because it’s not able to provide tax breaks but Chicago is eligible to provide zero property taxes which is worth $11-16 billion when you do the math. Brandon Johnson was called crazy but damn look at him now. 🐻⬇️

Ok. Beginning a Deep Dive. Big problem on page two. ARLINGTON HEIGHTS would be INELIGIBLE for a Stadium Authority to attract a BEARS Stadium.
The bill allows a Municipal Stadium authority in communities over 70,000 ENTIRELY LOCATED in Cook County. This is a problem because a small portion of Arlington Heights is in Lake County, which would make it ineligible.

People keep questioning his athleticism and are down on his 2025 game film but I think he’s going to be a dawg. I’d be good with the Bears taking him at 25
