My journey with Api3 has come to a close. I'm incredibly proud of what we accomplished together as a team, and I'm grateful to end this chapter alongside people I now call friends.
On this new journey, I'm excited to announce that I've joined @Katana network as their Developer Relations Engineer.
So why Katana in the sea of layer 2s?
As many of you know, I'm deeply involved in DeFi, both as an active user and through managing yield strategies for @developer_dao to fund community initiatives. After exploring what Katana brings to the table as a chain, I'm convinced it has the potential to become the premier destination for sustainable, long-term yield generation in the space.

People are starting to understand it.
The tokenomics are actually interesting.
KAT isn't used for gas (chain uses ETH). It's purely for economic coordination.
Lock KAT → get vKAT → vote on which pools get emissions → earn a share of protocol fees.
It's the ve(3,3) model. If adoption hits, supply gets locked and fees flow to stakers.
$3.4M in cumulative revenue so far. Real yield, not inflationary printing.

I haven't mentioned @megaeth despite the price decline - because I just don't care.
There aren't any novel dapps yet that leverage the insane speeds which are boasted, so, where's the difference vs Base or Soylana?
The TGE was a mess, the Terminal points campaign was a mess, i've heard bridging in and out was a mess.
Actually pisses me off that MegaETH gets this much attention when @katana is both subjectively AND objectively better.
Katana has more TVL than MegaETH and yet MegaETH is valued at 4x the MC of Katana and 8.37x the FDV.
Katana uses Agglayer, a novel architecture/mechanism which falls between modular and monolithic structures.
It's fast, highly liquid, offers good yield AND is actually novel in design build.
Why TF would I care more about MegaETH vs Katana and why is MegaETH always on my timeline.
It makes no sense.
Does someone need to get a fullbody tattoo and stand naked on a cliff to get attention nowadays?

Most people miss how @katana actually works:
When you bring assets in to use the apps, those assets earn yield underneath at the same time.
That yield funds the network's rewards.
More people using it, bigger reward engine. This is part of the Flywheel.
From day one, Katana was built around a different economic model. Not one propped up by only token emissions, but real yield via Vault Bridge.

💯 I absolutely hate running. I only did it for fight conditioning.
Walking burns fat better.
Sprints, I have a love/hate for it, but they are efficient and explosive.
