Here is an animation showing #polariton formation: an exciton (electron-hole pair) recombines into a photon, which bounces on the cavity mirrors until reabsorbed to form an exciton. The process repeats to form a superposition of photon and exciton states: an exciton polariton.

Stacked ensemble machine learning reconstructs molecular-specific range-separated hybrid functional. ML-ωPBE reproduces range-separation parameter and optical properties produced by OT-ωPBE but reduces computational cost by three orders of magnitude.
