I understand that sports get Americanised. I’ve enough experience of it, and I’ve been in favour of a lot of US sports influences. But insulting the world by calling the introduction of a time out half way through each half, a ‘rehydration break’, is an insult to us all.

When a ref’s standing waiting for a TV producer to tell him when he's allowed to restart a game, you've stopped running a football tournament & started running an ad break with football in between.
