As we worked on implementing bidirectional resolution for #domain and address binding using the “data embedding open-source indexer” approach, it got us thinking about how smart contracts, while simplifying the compilation process, can also open up too many opportunities for bad actors to exploit.
On the other hand, the #Bitcoin network, which lacks smart contracts, might actually be more secure in this aspect, with no authorization and no backdoors.
