Generative AI is about to create the most addictive algorithms in human history. Spotify’s Co-President, Gustav Söderström, warns that because AI can understand you on a deeply personal level, the potential for digital addiction is massive. But AI is a dual-use technology. Instead of letting the algorithm dictate who you are, you can use it to program who you want to become. Here is the framework he breaks down: Implicit vs. Intentional: Current algorithms track what you *did*. AI allows you to explicitly tell it what you *want* to do. The English Interface: Historically, only a few million developers could dictate what computers did. Now, anyone can reprogram their digital experience using plain English. The future of tech isn't about letting AI control us it's about using AI to take back control of our own attention and habits.

TradFi used to have a head start. Now crypto is changing the game. While Wall Street was waiting for the SpaceX IPO, crypto traders were already trading the narrative. The latest OKX livestream made one thing clear: pre IPO markets are quickly becoming one of the most exciting bridges between TradFi and crypto

BendaDonn reveals the insane, backward workflow of how Drake manifests his real life through music "How does he get his inspiration? Is he living to experience things so he can channel it through his music?" "I think he do shit knowing he got a bar for it, and then makes it true so it can be a true bar." "He takes inspiration for life from his music. Not the opposite. He'll come up with a sick bar, and then go do it so now it's authentic."

The most important decision in tech isn't what you build—it's what you optimize for "This is great for engagement. It's terrible for mental health. Push it."

The long-term story for SpaceX is straight fire, all these crazy developments with Starlink, Starship, and everything else. But the valuation? I’m still struggling to wrap my head around it 😂 I get the Elon hype and all that, but short-term, it feels like there’s gonna be some chop, nasty wicks, and wild volatility. Maybe even a bit of manipulation vibes while the hype is peaking. Once that dies down, it’ll probably settle into something more real. You know how stock investors actually dig into revenue numbers and fundamentals? Crypto folks see the shiny vision and we’re in. Totally different worlds colliding here.

We're still in the early innings of AI, according to Spotify's product chief ⚡ "It hasn't finished yet. No one knows exactly where it's going to end up."

BendaDonn and Mike Majlak break down the massive branding trap that short-form creators fall into "Short-form stuff can only brand you so much. If you ever want to start a business, get people to buy stuff, or really believe in your brand, you have to give them more of you." "The difference between standard content creation and live streaming is that streaming makes people feel a lot more connected to you. It makes them feel like, 'This is actually my partner, this is my friend.'" "They feel like, 'He doesn’t know it, but I hang out with this guy every day.' Whether it's the live stream, the VODs, or the clips, the connection is just deeper."

One of the smartest takes on scaling I’ve heard. The fastest way to kill your core product is trying to fix every weakness. Spotify’s Gustav tells David Senra why strategic incompetence wins.

Just crunching numbers, Apple went public in 1980 at a $1.8B market cap and did like a 1700x since then. If SpaceX pulls off the same thing, that’d put it at $3.85 QUADRILLION. That’s just a price target for the fun of it 😂 Just wild to think about the scale. Long-term this thing could be absolutely insane, but short-term? Buckle up for the volatility. You trading this IPO hype on @okx with SPCX or just watching the chaos? 👀

Succession planning done right isn’t a dramatic press release, it’s years of quiet, deliberate handover. Spotify founder Daniel Ek showed elite execution: gradual autonomy, deep delegation, and testing successors like Gustav in the real trenches years before any title change. Huge credit to the insights from David Senra’s conversations with Gustav Söderström. Most companies get this dangerously wrong. This is how the best ones protect decades of built equity. Hot emerging markets = BIG volatility 🔥 Traditional risk (std dev) vs what technicians watch — ATR (Average True Range). Wide swings between highs & lows. With SpaceX IPO, we’re seeing risk levels unlike anything before. Big risk = Big wins (and big losses). Trade the volatility with SPCX X-Perps on OKX

MrBeast reveals the last content creator he called, and it’s a brutal reminder of why the traditional "post every day" advice is completely dead "A channel called Dr. Plants. He doesn't upload much, only about 4 times a year, but he gets like 30 to 50 million views a video."

BendaDonn breaks down the unbelievable story of how a casual live stream conversation became an official audio sample on a Drake album "I did a stream with Yonna, and I had the original OVO chain on. It sparked something in her to be like, 'Yo, is that Drake's necklace?'" "I’m like, 'No, it ain't his, it's mine, but it's the same...' She’s like, 'Oh, you're part of his best friends group?'" "And I'm like, 'No, shout out, this is our gang. We die about this shit.' And then he threw that straight onto the back of the album."

Spotify didn't become Spotify by accident. The conversations between David Senra and Gustav are basically a masterclass in long-term thinking.

MrBeast addresses the viral conspiracy theory that he was replaced by a "soulless clone" "In a lot of older photos, my right eye is basically closed and it looks very weird. People look at it and say, 'Oh, it's soulless.'" "What a lot of people don't realize is I have incredibly bad eyesight in my right eye, I'm borderline blind without my contacts." "For me to be able to see, I have to squint really hardcore in my right eye when I don't have my contacts in."

MrBeast breaks down the brutal physical toll of running the world's largest YouTube channel and why those "soulless clone" rumors actually happen "If I don't get my 9 hours of sleep, I’m cooked. When I'm tired, it shows on camera. People call me soulless and say I look depressed, but it just makes the content worse and life not fun." "When we're filming Beast Games or the main channel, sometimes we literally shoot for 20 hours straight with only a 7-hour break before the next shot. I physically can't get 9 hours." "If I could have any talent, I wish I could function on less sleep. But if I could experience one thing for the first time again? Wiping my memories just to play Call of Duty Zombies as a kid for 12 hours straight."

BendaDonn and Mike Majlak break down the hidden mental tax of live streaming and the exact moment your brain completely short-circuits "As long as it’s bringing joy to people, making people laugh, making people forget about all the fucked up shit in the world... that's where my purpose comes from. It's like me giving medicine, like a doctor does." "But when I used to stream... when I would get to like the 3 or 4 hour mark, my brain would start to turn into almost like mashed potatoes." "Desktop for sure. On desktop, I'll get to like 3 hours of streaming and I'll be like, 'All right, chat... I ain't gonna lie...'”
