I want to introduce you to Steve. He’s 83. His wife died a few months ago and he comes to this lodge in Spring Mill, Indiana and draws. He taught art in Terre Haute, IN his whole life. He also did courtroom sketches in court cases. In the comments I’ll share some pics from his sketchbook. He was excited when I said I was going to share his sketches with the world.

I remember putting this song on in the car and my youngest daughter rolling her eyes. I gave her a look like, “You know you can’t resist it,” as I cranked up the volume. And despite her little punk rocker self being too cool for it, she caved and said, “Okay, fine!” And then we both started jamming hard to it, singing at the top of our lungs and car dancing as I drove. 😂 Oh how I miss those days! 😩 (Thanks for the memory, @NICKIMINAJ! 🥰)

One pretty incredible improvement I experienced tonight- I was strong enough to take a shower by myself for the first time in years! I didn’t wash my hair. I still need to work up to that. My husband usually does that part for me (and usually helps me get in and out, helps me w/ towels & drying off, etc.) And I still needed my shower chair. But it’s an incredible improvement & more evidence of the positive transformation God is working in my life! 🥰🙏🏻❤️ #PraiseGod #PraiseReport

This message below from @Pontifex is so beautiful & so true! God tells us in 1 Cor. 16:14, “Do *everything* in love.” (emphasis mine.) May we grant grace & forgiveness wherever & whenever it’s needed, too.
I’m also personally learning to let go of resentment & bitterness b/c it’s poison to the soul to hold onto that. It steals joy.
I choose to live in peace w/ love & joy in and around me instead. To surround myself w/ positive ppl who love me, support me, understand me & lift me up.
And it’s been incredibly freeing! Like a *tremendous* weight off my soul which has interestingly led to weight coming off physically, too, w/o any effort. I’m seeing positive changes in my physical health, as well.
My @getoneword resolution this year (my God-given word) is “transformation.” So, it’s been pretty amazing to see Him transforming me inside & out every day!
This physical & emotional healing has come straight from Him- through prayer, worship & therapy. It’s such a beautiful gift! I have renewed confidence, self-worth, strength, joy & peace.
Happiness really is a choice & isn’t based on circumstances when the Holy Spirit is within you! God’s Word & His Will for us is such a beautiful thing when we follow it & put all our trust in Him!
I truly wish this kind of love, peace, strength & joy for everyone! If you feel like something’s missing in your life, please feel free to message me.
I’d be happy to share my faith w/ you & how easy it is for you to experience all of this, too. God loves you. Jesus gave His life for you.
