Saw this clip going round again and it's insane how this does not feel like Hera Syndulla AT ALL. Mary Elizabeth Winstead is a talented actress, but she is so utterly miscast in this role that the two versions of Hera feel like completely separate entities.

Both the haters and glazers of the microseries do everything they can to completely brush over the thing that actually makes the show great: that Genndy Tartakovsky and his team just truly understand these characters
There are many double standards regarding the micro-series in common perception/evaluation, and it's completely fine to have a preference for it.
Part of my problem stems from when people act like what amounts to power battles in the series is the most substantive animation ever
