Day one of learning marketing
let me tell you how it really started.
A few days ago, I was scrolling through a post and saw a marketer break it down in the simplest way:
If you’re new, you need two things — a mentor and a course.
Simple, but it hit me🙃
Because I don’t have a mentor yet. Nobody to point and say, “Blue, go this way.”
So I told myself I’ll start with the one I can control, the course📝
Today, I bought my first one.
And it wasn’t even easy. I didn’t have a card to pay, so I literally spent over three hours at the bank just to get an ATM card.
Sitting there, waiting, tired… all because I wanted to invest in this one step.
The course is called The Complete Digital Marketing Guide (27 courses in one).
Over 70 hours.
Now, some people might say “But that’s Web2 marketing, not Web3.”
I actually asked ChatGPT about this, and the answer made sense:
The foundation is the same. Marketing is still psychology, audience understanding, storytelling, strategy.
The only difference is the platforms and the execution.
So yes.
I’m starting from Web2.
I’m learning the basics properly.
I’m taking the long route.
So yeah… today feels like a small beginning, but it’s a beginning I’m proud of.
