Despite being based in Poland, we are also interested in Japanese history.
In fact, the campaign for SHOGUN launches soon.
This is our game covering warring samurai clans in feudal Japan, using the core game engine that proved so popular with Bretwalda (our game on Dark Ages Britain).
This game puts you in the position of a daimyo, jostling for power using warfare, negotiation, building and trade.
It is epic, immersive, thematic, multi-player strategy at its best. Play-testers love it.

I wonder if any used book stores can chime in on if used 'Dad' book sales have decreased, because I would suspect this might in fact be an indictment of the quality of new books.

A mechanic I really like in board games is having your economy represented by how many cards you have.
In QMG this is the main feature of the game. You have a finite deck of cards and you need to play cards to do your actions.
In Imperial Elegy and other CDG's, there's something similar. Improving your economy means you draw more cards, thus giving you more options.
Its a simple way to make cards represent something tangible.
