Joe Zuger, who passed this week at age 84, exemplified an era in which tough as nails athletes played multiple positions. He is best remembered as a record-setting Tiger-Cats quarterback who captured three Grey Cups, including in 1967 when he was the game’s MVP. He was also a great football mind, adding a fourth championship in 1986 as Hamilton’s GM. Our thoughts are with his family, friends and teammates.
