The American dream lives on. Failure and negativity become self fulfilling prophecies if you teach kids they can't succeed. America isn't evil. History shows we've been the greatest force for good in world history. We don't need major political, social and economic re-engineering. We need to learn critical thinking and take a problem / solution approach to life. Be like Alfie.

The people commenting on Elon Musk becoming a trillionaire, saying, "no one should be allowed to become a billionaire." Did you also say and participate in the No Kings protests? Because the United States was founded on the principles of private property and individual rights. The King was trying to do what you suggest.

If you didn't watch UFC Freedom 250, you really missed out. Each fighter began his entrance from a room in the White House. Justin Gaethje was in the main event. He's an American challenging the lightweight champion and a huge underdog. His entrance began in the Oval Office. The Marine Corps band is playing the Johnny Cash song. I can't imagine a better rendition.
The salutes are for the Medal of Honor recipients. Don't believe the lies.

We're so divided that some people can't even enjoy the idea of a UFC fight at the White House ... and then the World Cup fans from around the globe remind us, thru sheer joy, how incredible we are, how amazing the USA continues to be. The mood is incredible, after just four days.

UFC Freedom 250. American underdog Justin Gaethje wins the lightweight title in a brutal, exciting fight. This video includes 2 minutes of his in-ring speech and 2 minutes of fireworks and the military band. What a great night of patriotic pride. I honestly didn't expect this to be so good.

Gotta be honest, this @ufc event at the White House looks spectacular. This is a big time show. I’m not there, and we all know all the complaints folks had about renovations at and around the White House, etc, but — to be fair — this is some impressive stuff I’m looking at. Props to UFC President @danawhite and the show they’ve put on. It’s Bigtime. Plain and simple!!!

I began engaging with posts saying positive things about America and UFC Freedom 250. I reposted 2. My FY feed is completely transformed.

People crying about Elon Musk becoming a trillionaire as if they know what it means or how it happened. Do yourself a favor, learn how wealth is created, learn about public vs private companies and about investing. The people who do that will be much more successful and retire with far more money than people who wait around for the government to give them someone else's money (which will never happen).

Today, I decided to leave my church.
I can't sit through another political sermon where the phrase "White Supremacy" is used again and again, and I'm told I'm not doing enough for the LGBTQ crowd.
I want a church that has more crucifixes than rainbow flags and whose bishop doesn't send videos to play about how he protests at whatever the church's politics-du-jour is.
And thus, I am no longer a member of the United Methodist Church.
