Since she was unable to join our earlier Pilgrimage, I am grateful that Stacy was able to meet Pope Leo, one of the most consequential leaders in our world and of my faith. It’s childish anyone would think otherwise.

Congrats to our Local 150 Brother, Bob Reiter, on his re-election to a 3rd term as President of the CFL. We also congratulate Secretary-Treasurer Don Villar on his re-election to a 3rd term. Both have done an outstanding job advancing & advocating for labor in Chicago.
Today, CFL delegates unanimously reelected President Bob Reiter and Secretary-Treasurer Don Villar to a third term.
Reiter becomes just the third president in CFL history to serve at least three terms.

This is why Rudy keeps finding himself in trouble. A clerical error doesn’t make those votes illegal, especially since all of the votes cast had been recounted and scrutinized. Illegal votes are those where someone did not have the legal ability to cast the vote. Rudy is a troll.

I urge Heads of State and the leaders of nations to listen to the cry of the poorest. There can be no peace without justice. The poor remind us of this in many ways, through migration as well as through their cries, which are often stifled by the myth of well-being and progress, which does not take everyone into account.

❌ This reporting is totally FALSE.
ICE agents did NOT target a daycare center or a daycare employee. They were attempting to apprehend an illegal alien who fled during a traffic stop, exited the car at a random shopping center, and tried to barricade herself in a Chicago daycare center. She was never a teacher or worker at the daycare facility.
Fake stories like this are why our brave @ICEgov agents have increasingly faced attacks & threats. Shameful.
