Blue Strike attended “Supporting the Reuse Economy in the Monterey Bay Area” at the Hilton Garden Inn in Monterey last week.
Hosted by Building Business Back, a program of the Monterey County Business Council, in partnership with the CA Green Business Network, the event brought together local waste management partners, reuse companies, businesses, school districts, healthcare leaders, and environmental consultants to explore practical pathways toward reusable foodware systems in Monterey County.
We appreciated connecting with partners including ReGen Monterey, Salinas Valley Recycles, reuse innovators, special event organizers, CHOMP, school districts, and fellow sustainability firms.
During the Q&A, Abbie Beane, Blue Strike’s Development Director, Sustainable Sports & Entertainment, highlighted our Life Cycle Analysis (LCA) work and how data-driven analysis helps venues and events make informed reuse decisions.
Thank you to the organizers and speakers for advancing this important conversation and to
@BoldReuse for being a valued partner in building a stronger reuse economy in the Monterey Bay Area.
