You could be forgiven for thinking on initial viewing that this video shows a rapid assessment of the situation by the attending officers.
However, it's clear that the police had already been at the scene for some time, as the video begins with the Digwas concluding their version of events.
How many minutes before the start of this video did the police spend listening to the lies of the murderer and his family? How long were they standing there completely oblivious and uninterested in the clearly-unwell young man on the ground?
