Please pre register online so you’ll get a QR code to scan at a kiosk where you’ll be asked the same questions again…
Please arrive at your appointment 15 minutes early so you can fill out the same forms you filled out online and then be asked the same questions when the doctor actually sees you.

Hey @uber @Uber_Support & @lyft @AskLyft is there a way to set a preference for a car? Not an SUV or minivan? I’m booking basic, not asking for extra room. I’m short, I need a car.

Southwest’s Customer of Size policy is now being reconsidered, marking a positive step forward in the ongoing conversation around fairness, accessibility and standardized dignity in air travel. Advocacy from travelers and organizations including the OAC helped elevate concerns and push for clearer, more consistent standards grounded in respect. While this is encouraging progress, continued advocacy is still needed to ensure lasting, meaningful change. Always nice to see a familiar name helping improve access to care! I used to meet with Seth when he worked for Sen. Portman.
Today, Sec. Greenstein, Seth Gold, and Senator Boudreaux testified before House Appropriations on SB 433, expanding GLP-1 coverage in Medicaid for residents affected by obesity. The bill cleared its final committee stop without objection thanks to Sen. Boudreaux’s leadership.

John Huot shared his perspective as a lawmaker with lived experience. The discussion highlights the importance of patient voice in obesity care policy. No one should have to navigate obesity care in silence. Weight stigma made Mary feel embarrassed to speak openly about her experiences, even with her doctors. Through support, education and community, she finally found her voice. Obesity is a complex, chronic disease. Everyone deserves care that listens, support that meets them where they are and a community that reminds them their story matters. The new @CMSGov Medicare Bridge program is a significant milestone in the effort to ensure equitable obesity care. Beginning July 1, eligible Part D beneficiaries can access these critical treatments for a $50 monthly co-pay. Access to obesity treatment has been “overdue and much needed,” said OAC’s Vice President of Advocacy & Research, Tracy Zvenyach, as Medicare prepares to launch a new GLP-1 Bridge Program in July. The program could significantly reduce out-of-pocket costs for eligible beneficiaries seeking obesity treatment, an important step toward improving access to evidence-based care. While there’s still more work to do, this marks meaningful progress in recognizing obesity as a chronic disease deserving of treatment and support. Read more now: bit.ly/3PsLjZ1
