Neither Democrats nor Republicans will fight for women's liberation - they are bought and paid for by the bankers, CEOs, and bosses who exploit women every day. We need a socialist system, where working and oppressed people control the economy and govt, to end women's oppression!

Boston Police violently threw Larry Green to the ground and arrested him as concerned bystanders watched. Community members later gathered in front of the police station to demand an immediate investigation into the excessive force used by the officers and that the charge against Green be dropped.

Today we celebrate the birthday of Black liberation leader Coretta Scott King! Born in rural Alabama, King became involved in struggle during her university years at Antioch College in Ohio, when the racism she experienced there propelled her to engage in student activism.

…it was her influence that pushed Martin Luther King Jr., her husband, whom she met when they were both students in Boston, toward the more radical ideas he held toward the end of his life.
