🇧🇴The Bolivian people continue to mobilize against the U.S.-backed far-right government of Rodrigo Paz.
For more than two weeks, workers, campesinos, Indigenous peoples, miners, teachers, and transport workers have carried out mass protests against privatization of electricity, water, fuel, and other essential services, as well as austerity, rising prices, and the deepening economic and political crisis.
Demonstrators are being labeled as “destabilizers” linked to narcotrafficking. The mobilizations are facing murderous repression, with thousands of police and military forces deployed.
Despite the arrests, injuries, and killings, the mobilizations continue, demanding dignity, economic justice, sovereignty, and the resignation of a government they say does not represent them.
Solidarity with the peoples of Bolivia!
