Another BotCon/OTFCC character gets an upgrade! And it's MEGAZARAK! He's just been revealed for the next wave of the Age of the Primes toy line! A redeco of Armada Megatron, MegaZarak was released at the 2004 convention and branded as part of the Universe toy line. The concept was originally pitched as Chaos Megatron, but was renamed at the request of Hasbro to make it a new character. And so MegaTRON became MegaZARAK!! Since then, MegaZarak has been mentioned in TCC related fiction as being a Decepticon despot who took over after Megatron's defeat. In various stories/universes, he has succeeded where Megatron failed and has thoroughly driven the Autobots from their homeworld of Cybertron. MegaZarak was even mentioned in last year's BotCon pack-in comic with Soundblaster and Glyph...proof that even though he's an obscure part of Transformers lore, MegaZarak lives on!! #botcon #megazarak #transformers #convention

Though it might as well have been nearly an eternity since the lax toy laws of 1984, Hasbro still thought there was a chance to bring the Walter P-38 Megatron back to Toys R Us store shelves. Sporting a chrome blue and bright orange accents, the idea was submitted, turned in to a production sample with mock up packaging and… ultimately still rejected! FINALLY, 24 year later, what turned out to be one of the coolest deco’s ever for a G1 toy, is now available for you to grab via our latest Official Yolopark Exclusive - “Decepticon Avatar: Megatron”.
