The $2.5B NIH increase is 2.8X the entire CIHR budget. Total NIH ($47.5B) is 54X the entire CIHR budget - 6X per capita. Canada needs to double tri-council budgets now and build a long term strategy for systematic investments. science.org/content/article/…
