Stripe Managed Payments is sooooo good. Have been using it for a side project and it's 100% the easiest way to sell something on the internet

10 major changes to Apple's App Store guidelines today, and they're not messing around. The big one: egregious violations = instant removal program termination. Thread 🧡

🧡 Superwall had on off-the-record* meeting with someone very high up at Apple yesterday to ask questions about what is and isn't allowed on the App Store. We asked for rules on β†’ App2Web β†’ Transaction Abandon β†’ Free Trial Toggles β†’ A/B Testing Paywalls in General Here's everything we learned... * Guidelines are intentionally subjective and ultimately up to the reviewer to interpret (more on this in my last post). The only way Apple takes an official stance on a guideline is by updating them. Some topics may never enter the official guidelines... that doesn't mean they're allowed. There's a whole layer of internal policy behind the guidelines that isn't written down anywhere and subject to change. The text you read is just the tip of the iceberg. That's what this thread is about. πŸ‘‡

if you believe the title of this for even one second then you're actually NEVER going to make it self delusion is the first prerequisite i come from a family of wagies in latin america my cofounder is a high school drop out from cuba is luck involved?? sure of course but the trick is maximizing your surface area of luck here are the questions you should instead ask yourself to ACTUALLY make money: - how fast are you willing to let go of your comfort and ego in order to make something people want? I used to think i knew better and built stupid stuff nobody wanted for years when in reality i knew absolutely nothing about the market and apps - how honest are you willing to be with yourself to realize you've been wasting time in the wrong things all along? I used to waste hours reading business and motivational books and only focusing on coding. The minute i obsessed over my users and distribution everything changed - how willing are you to have conversations with people that know more than you and ACTUALLY follow their advise I was top of my class and graduated with a 4.0 GPA, this made me think i knew better than everyone. BIG MISTAKE. I knew NOTHING, and this set me back years. Learn from people that have the results you want - how willing are you to do things you don't like to fulfill your mission? I made enterprise mobile apps i didn't want to do, I locked myself in my room for 3 years cause i was broke and determined to make it. I stopped talking to 90% of my friends cause I never went out and didn't care. I did agency work I absolutely hated. My "success" didn't come for free, I needed money, I needed to make my vision work and i was and I AM willing to do everything it takes, even to this day. WE WILL MAKE PRAYER LOCK THE #1 CHRISTIAN APP IN THE ENTIRE WORLD - how willing are you to invest money into your project the minute you can? Probably what set me back the most, I wanted to do everything myself without investing money. Stupid mistake, invest as soon as you can, change your mindset around money, you need to spend money to make more money, there's no way around it. In the age of AI i will never, not for one second, believe that anyone can't be successful if they are truly committed to it. this is the reason i fell in love with AI back in early 2022
