Having problems topping up online or via the app? You can top up by phone 24/7 on 0333 009 5698 – just choose option 1. You can also top up at Payzone outlets or the Post Office too.

If you can't get to do a meter reading today, do it tomorrow, or Sunday, or monday. The nearer to today you do it the less chance of mis-estimates, so don't panic about missing it (either through your own or the firm's issue) just get it in as soon as you can. :)
Pls share. Thurs 31 Mar is energy #MeterReadingDay So firms can't assign some of your current usage to April when rates are c54% higher - Not smart meter? Send a reading (later in the day the better) - Smart or prepay meter? Just take a meter pic for safety (in case of dispute)

To reiterate again you DON'T need to give a meter reading today if you're on a fixed deal, or are in Northern Ireland, or anyone else who's tariff is not on the price cap. And again if on smart/prepay just take pic of your meter, no need to submit

With red weather warnings, the Met Office have advised to stay at home where we can. If you’re on a pre-payment meter, it’s a good idea to top-up with a bit more if you can just in case you can't get out. If you have a smart pre-payment meter, top up here: bit.ly/BGSmartTopUp
