I hate these posts... They reduced righteous and faithful men of God to sinners only to exhault and encourage a generation of hypocrites... If you have to tear someone down to build someone else up you should caution yourself.
If God can use: • Noah the drunk • Jacob the deceiver • Rahab the prostitute • Moses the murderer with a speech problem • Gideon who was afraid • David the adulterer • Jonah who ran from God • Peter who denied Jesus • Thomas who doubted • Paul the persecutor Then your past, your weakness, your failures, and your mistakes do not disqualify you. God has never been looking for perfect people. He’s looking for willing people. ✝️🔥

Today's reading Genesis 24-26
29
Today's reading is Genesis 24-26. Abraham sent a servant to get a wife for Isaac to ensure he did not have a Canaanite wife but a wife from Abraham's own people. This is due to Yah telling Abraham in a vision that the Canaanites would be judged (Genesis 15:16-21). Esau later got a wife from the Canaanites which upset Isaac and Rebekah. The servant prepared for the possibility that the woman did not want to move to Canaan. This shows the woman clearly had a choice in the matter. Laban and her mother wanted Rebekah to stay ten days but they asked her if she wanted to go right away and she chose to leave immediately. Abraham's servant came with ten camels loaded with valuable possessions. He led by giving the woman gifts and even gave gifts to her family. He began by introducing himself as the servant of Abraham and told them how rich Abraham was. Laban called the servant blessed of Yah. The whole well situation is similar to Yahushua at the well with the woman in the Gospels (John 4). Abraham gave all that he had to Isaac but gave gifts to his other sons and sent them away. This testifies of the Father giving the Holy Spirit to many prophets but giving a full portion of the Spirit to Yahushua (John 3:34). The birthright represents the promise of God which leads to the Kingdom. Esau prioritized his flesh over his birthright. This is why Yahushua says seek first the kingdom of God (Matthew 6:33). Yah told Isaac the reason He will bless Isaac's seed is because Abraham did everything he was commanded to do. This shows that even though Abraham did not live to see all of God's promises, God is still faithful to Abraham through his descendants. Isaac kept digging wells that led to strife until he was in a place where Yah gave him peace and Yah appeared to him. A covenant was made with Abimelech and they had a feast. Today's reading is Genesis 20-23. Abraham called Sarah his sister again much like he did in Egypt. God spoke first to Abimelech and said you are but a dead man. God introduced himself with negative news and judgment. The fear of God comes first (Proverbs 9:10). After Abimelech presented his innocence Yah confirmed that he knew it was done innocently. God explained he knew Abimelech was innocent and that is why he did not allow him to touch her. The opening words were Gods way of having mercy but most people would not take it that way at first. It is important to understand how God approaches things so we can prepare our minds to trust His way. There was a feast when Isaac was weaned and Ishmael was found mocking him. This led to Sarah casting out Ishmael. This testifies of Yahushua going to the right hand of the father and there no longer being a place found for Satan in heaven and him being cast out (Revelation 12:7-10). Abimelech made a deal with Abraham requesting him to be honest likely because Abimelech almost died from messing with Abrahams wife based on Abraham withholding information from him. Abraham then took the opportunity to report that a well of water had been stolen by Abimelech's people and Abimelech said it was the first he had heard of it. Abraham was put into position to prove his faith by offering his only remaining son, of whom many promises are connected but yet unfulfilled, as a sacrifice. This was supposed to be done in Mount Moriah which is the same place where Yahushua the son of God was crucified as a sacrifice for our sins (2 Chronicles 3:1). Abraham lifted up his eyes on the third day just as Yahushua rose on the third day after his death (1 Corinthians 15:4). Isaac had to carry the wood as Yahushua had to carry his cross (John 19:17). Abraham did not want any favors much like when he was dealing with the king of Sodom and insisted to pay for Sarahs grave site. Read along here: learn.taughtofyah.com/course…

Today's reading is Genesis 17-19. Yah commanded Abram, who He renamed Abraham, to be perfect. He reestablished His covenant with Abraham and commanded the circumcision. Yah also revealed to Abraham for the first time that Sarah would be the mother to his seed of the promise. This is interesting because had this been revealed before, the whole Hagar situation would have been avoided. It is important to watch how God moves and when He shows Himself or reveals information in His wisdom. You will see how much patience He requires. Remember this for your own lives. The everlasting covenant of the circumcision is really about Yahushua who was born and circumcised on the eighth day (Luke 2:21). He qualified for the covenant and through His sacrifice, He extends the covenant to all of us who will obey Him. Notice Yah appeared visually to Abraham as a man with two other people with him (two angels). It is interesting to see when Yah takes a physical appearance when dealing with people. Sarah and Abraham both laughed at the thought that they would have a child in their old age. Yah looked ahead in the future and considered how Abraham would be obedient and teach his descendants the right things. Because of Abraham's future faithfulness, Yah counted it to him as righteousness (Romans 4:3). For that reason He shared His plans with Abraham. Yah was going to judge Sodom and Gomorrah, but Yah always reveals His judgment to a prophet prior to enacting it (Amos 3:7). Abraham sort of haggles with God trying to save Lot from the judgment of Sodom and Gomorrah which only proved that there were not even 10 righteous people in Sodom and Gomorrah. When Lot saw the two angels (who were the two men who appeared with God to Abraham), he invited them in. The door, which represents Yahushua, was shut and those men outside who sinned and looked to homosexuality, were struck with blindness and not able to find the door (John 10:9). Lot's son in laws and daughters married to them did not join him but his two virgin daughters that he offered to the wicked men did join him. It should be noted that later in the law, this is made illegal by the hand of Moses. Lot escapes but his wife looks back, disobeying the commandment, just as Yahushua said those who look back are not worthy of the kingdom (Luke 9:62). At first Lot wanted to go to Zoar instead of the mountain but after seeing the level of destruction so close to him in Sodom and Gomorrah he changed his mind and went to the mountain just as the angels originally commanded. They dwelt in a cave just as people will do during the events of Revelation when stars fall out of the sky (Revelation 6:15-17). The daughters, believing that there was not anyone left to marry them anymore after they saw all the destruction, devised a plan to bring forth their children. For context, the commandment from God from the beginning was to multiply and have children. Having children was the glory of women and the duty of men (Psalm 127:3-5). At this point, we know that incest would have been necessary for Adam and Eve's children to populate the world but up to this point there was no instruction from God that told people not to have incest. This later becomes a law by the hand of Moses. It's very possible the daughters thought they were doing themselves and their father a favor by repopulating the world. The names of the sons were "of his father" (Moab) and "son of my people" (Ben-Ammi/Ammon). Read along here: learn.taughtofyah.com/course…
