For those who don't know what these mean: 1. Non-necessity of the sacraments: The belief that baptism and communion are optional extras with no real spiritual significance. Scripture disagrees. Jesus instituted both. The early church practiced both consistently. 2. Hypergrace / Antinomianism: Hypergrace teaches that grace covers future sins without repentance or obedience. Antinomianism takes it further say that the moral law has no binding authority on the believer. 3. Doctrinal immaturity of the apostles The claim that the apostles, the men Jesus personally trained and the Holy Spirit personally inspired did not fully understand what they were teaching. This is not a small claim. It is an attack on the authority of the New Testament itself. 4. Dissuasion of conciliar theology: Rejecting the conclusions of the early church councils (Nicaea, Chalcedon, Constantinople) where the church carefully defined the Trinity, the nature of Christ, and core doctrine. To dismiss these is to dismiss centuries of Spirit-guided theological work. 5. Neo-Marcionism: Marcion was a second century heretic who rejected the Old Testament entirely and believed the God of the Old Testament was different from the God of the New. Neo-Marcionism is a modern version of the same error. It produces a Christianity with no roots and no continuity with Israel's God. 6. Pelagianism: The belief that human beings can choose God and live righteously by their own natural will without the necessity of divine grace. The church condemned this in the fifth century. It is still heresy. 7. Modalism: The denial of the Trinity. Modalism teaches that Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are not three distinct persons but three modes or masks of one person. This contradicts Matthew 3:16-17 alone where all three persons are simultaneously present and distinct at the baptism of Jesus. Every single one of these errors has a name because the church has faced them before. They are not new ideas. They are old heresies wearing new clothe And Jude 1:3 is still the instruction. Earnestly contend for the faith once delivered to the saints. Not the faith being invented today. The faith once delivered.

So far, Onayinka has espoused the following: • Non-necessity of the sacraments • Hypergrace/antinomianism • Doctrinal immaturity of the apostles. • Dissuasion of conciliar theology • Neo-Marcionism • Pelagianism • Modalism. Don’t even get me started on…

Joy want wound Barnabas. Him start dey preach. Always fulfilling to see the people you labour on in the Lord excel in the grace of God. Dear Christian, Strive that your shepherd will have this experience because of you.

Zainab Buba-Galadima first delivers a satirical x-ray of Tinubu's Democracy Day speech, then reminds him that Democracy is not merely the absence of the military. "Democracy means that citizens can be treated with dignity and justice is accessible. It means that institutions are stronger than individuals. Democracy is not measured by the government's balance sheet but by the household's balance sheet."

"All sins are not equal. Some sins are greater than others; and whoever is living in immorality has no place in Christian ministry." - Apostle Gideon Odoma

I think that you guys are missing the point. This isn’t about him having objective discussions; this is about him engaging in conversations that seem to push Christ and His Word out of the center. To what end is a “pastor” trying to deconstruct?
I have checked his recent interviews and I do not think he's deconstructing. He's just engaging in objective discussions which is normal and should be encouraged. Even if he's deconstructing that doesn't mean he's not a Christian. The truth should always hold up to scrutiny.

Nigerian Christians—especially ministers—would benefit immensely from reading C.S. Lewis’s The Screwtape Letters. In this masterpiece, Lewis humorously reveals how we often surrender the very front where the devil is most active, while vigorously protecting the front where we think he is active. Too often, we pattern our spiritual warfare after the melodramatic portrayals of old Nollywood movies. Meanwhile, the enemy advances by stealth, unchecked—or worse, aided by Christians themselves—on a subtle, almost-feels-right, serpentine front. Seemingly insignificant details, innocuous habits, sensible appetites, splendid achievements, sterling talents, and superior intellects…all can be made to run amok. Getting bogged down in the wrong battle is a sure way to lose the war. It is wasting armoury on a decoy, guarding the shiny gates when the enemy is already within the walls. But all hope is not lost. Read the book.

As believers, Yes, it’s good that we pray in tongues and are filled with the Holy Ghost. Yes, It’s good that we see signs and visions. It’s good that we hear from God and prophesy. It’s good that we heal the sick and work miracles. More importantly, alongside all these things, it’s good that we bear the fruits of the Holy Spirit. It’s good that we walk in love. It’s good that we do not have bad character and use spirituality to cover it. It’s good that we are not prideful people while claiming to be “men and women of God.” It’s good that we honor all men. This is what it really means to be a disciple of Christ. Spiritual gifts may reveal what God can do through a person, but godly character reveals what God has done in a person.

I am enjoying them seriously.
Throughout this World Cup, I'll support Morocco 🇲🇦 These guys have gone past many African countries in football. This is so good. A very composed team, very confident and very organised. In Africa today, Morocco, Senegal and Nigeria seems to have some of the most competitive teams in the world now. I'm so impressed.

YES, sins are greater than others. Scripture has always made that clear. Even Jesus said so. “All sin is the same” is a lie that people tell themselves—it is not scriptural.
