There are hundreds of games that use Magicās mana system ābut fixedā (every big release in the last year) and they are all very boring and have the exact same problem. I find screw/flood impossible to go back to now, but Iām simultaneously convinced Magic-likes donāt work w/o it.

Anyway, my advice if you donāt like flood/screw is not to take it out of a game system that requires it to create dynamic situationsājust go find a game that uses a different system. I happen to know a great oneā¦
