What was difficult was not the adversity itself, but the lack of support during it. I believed, and still believe, that educators , and coaches should be judged on truth, fairness, and due process. Unfortunately, when those values were tested, they were not upheld.

I was placed on admin leave and, shortly thereafter, terminated before I had my day in court. I was never provided a clear reason for my termination beyond the existence of the charge itself. I was ultimately found not guilty, yet the decision was never reconsidered, or explained

This fall, during an unprecedented season, I was arrested during an incident at mt home involving a neighbor, who made false claims to police. I consistently asserted my innocence, cooperated fully and communicated openly with school admin. From the beginning.

What we built together on and off the field, was rooted in accountability, hard work, respect and belief in one another. I will always be proud of the young men and women I had the privilege to coach and the relationships formed along the way

Over the past six seasons, it has been an honor to serve as the head football coach at Canton high school and over the course of 18 seasons to Coach in the community to help raised me I want to sincerely thank the players, assistant, coaches, parents, families, and alumni.
