A historic day for Jersey. Today the States Assembly will debate and vote on legalising assisted dying. Seven years of campaigning for choice at the end of life has led to this moment.

Claire watched her dad die in agony, denied the “pain-free death" he wanted. Now she’s calling on the House of Lords to stop standing in the way of the assisted dying Bill. Dying people deserve choice and dignity - not delay and obstruction.
