Every time someone tries to tell you that “New Zealand doesn’t have CGT” remind them that they also have no tax free threshold, higher student debt repayments & a population that moves here to earn more money & live a more comfortable lifestyle

Kiwis pay tax on every dollar they earn - no tax free threshold. Student debt also treated more harshly - repayments not linked to earnings.
