The Beautiful Game breaking down boundaries
This is why a World Cup is so important for humanity.
A periodic opportunity to come together, share the passion and love, see each other as part of one community.
To play.
And to dance.
Cultural differences are amplified and enjoyed, not used as reasons to bomb one another.
People arenβt thinking about sanctioning each other, only high five-ing.
They meet humans from counties theyβve never been, people their media have told them are foes.
And they become friends.
A World Cup is a vision of a better world.
Which is why authoritarians, warmongers, liars and narcissists like Trump are so desperate to use it, and always have been.
But for the people, it breaks barriers often built over a lifetime.
